About Peter Zealley

  • Married with 3 teenage children and living in Exeter, Devon.
  • In 1986, graduated from The British College of Naturopathy & Osteopathy in London - a four-year full-time course with two years clinical training.
  • Practising privately in Exeter & Topsham since 1986, initially as an Osteopath & Naturopath
  • Undertaken post-graduate training in Cranial Osteopathy at The British School of Osteopathy and Craniosacral Therapy with The Upledger Institute UK.
  • A Registered and Insured Member of the LCSP Register of Remedial Masseurs & Remedial Therapists (visit www.lcsp.uk.com)
  • With many Osteopaths, declined to join the General Osteopathic Counsel in 2000, when the osteopathic professions was regulated and so can no longer legally use the term 'Osteopath'
  • My practise is based on a Craniosacral approach. I may also use massage, soft-tissue and neuromuscular techniques, manipulative techniques and give nutritional advice
  • Patients consult me suffering from a wide range of acute, or chronic, presenting health disorders.
  • I seek to understand fundamentally the causes of pain and disease
  • Where possible, I work to resolve health issues and prevent them recurring, not just relieve symptoms
  • People who have been failed by orthodox medicine and other alternative therapies, especially chiropractic and traditional osteopathy, are regularly helped
  • If you just want your bones 'crunched' you are on the wrong site.
  • I have a particular interest in treating the effects of trauma; conditions of the spine, pelvis, joints, head, face, mind and nervous system; head and brain injuries; stress; children and babies.
  • I have a practical knowledge of most alternative therapies, natural remedies, nutrition & supplements, healing & psychotherapy.
  • If I am unable to help you, I have professional contact with local complementary practitioners and can refer you to a practitioner of a different modality, or, if necessary, back to your GP.

You do not have to have anything wrong to benefit from my treatments, good health is much more than the absence of disease.
