- Falling off a horse onto one's head as a child and compressing the upper neck, may be the cause of lifelong headaches.
- Injuring your low back lifting something badly as a teenager, may have been the initial cause of a present lumbar disc protrusion.
- A previous whiplash accident may be the cause of present head pain, neck stiffness, pins and needles in the hands, low back pain, anxiety and depression.
- Asthma diagnosed in a baby, or young infant, is commonly a result of autonomic nervous system stress and reduced diaphragm function resulting from birth.
- A single severe trauma to a joint will eventually result in osteoarthritis in that joint, unless it is adequately treated at the time of the injury, or soon after.
And so it goes on. Most structural disorders and some disease processes and mind conditions have their origins in past stresses, traumas and injuries.
